Tattered Fairy Dress
Vintage Nylon Nightie turned into Fantasy Dress

Here is a most beautiful upcycled vintage nightgown that I am calling a "tattered fairy dress" because that is what I have transformed it into! I took this adorable vintage nylon sheer chiffon fabric in lemony pale yellow and pale pink and first I altered the hem and created a tattered effect. I then took the scraps and created a gorgeous hand sewn and beaded rosette that I attached to the center front below the bustline where the strings hang. I also added some streaming layered pieces to the shoulder straps and a single glass beaded star on each. There are two long strings that wrap around the dress either once or twice to gather the waist. The entire dress is rather sheer, so it is either an enticing nighgown or with other shabby undergarments this is a gorgeous tattered look dress. This dress will fit between 32 and 36 inches in the bust. It has little belt strings that will cinch it up, and the bust poofs out quite nicely. The bust and skirt has a sheer layer and another thicker layer underneath. The length from under the bust to the bottom is about 25 inches.
