Uranium Glass Necklace

This bold glass necklace makes quite a statement. I used large chunky glass pink and yellow uranium glass (sometimes called vaseline glass) beads in sizes 12mm, 6mm and 4mm to create this lovely 16.5 inch necklace. It is designed to sit at the base of your neck. I used strong flexible steel wire and a sterling silver lobster clasp. The center of this necklace has a huge 20mm bead, the size of a large gumball! It is difficult to get a bead this size, and I have been hoarding it for a while but finally decided to use it on this fabulous piece. Every single bead on this necklace is uranium glass and will glow super bright under UV light.
